We are very excited to announce a major event for 2012. JozzBeat will be hosting the JellyMusic National Classroom Music Project from Term 1, 2012. What is it? Well, it's a world leading music application for Interactive Whiteboards and Digital Projectors that you can download and run a whole range of music classes with. The content enables generalist classroom teachers through to specialists the ability to run curriculum based and FUN lessons. What does it cost? Your school can participate in the project from as little as ZERO dollars! The FREE subscription will give you enough brain food for your students for about 10 weeks. For a full year of exceptional resources (including new resources being added regularly) the introductory yearly sub is $199.00. Pretty amazing hey?! What do I get? You will get an amazing amount of resources that feature instructional videos for EVERY piece, animated notation for all pieces, lesson plans, search function to find pieces according to genre, curriculum outcomes, other KLA's (literacy, numeracy, science...), instrument and so on. You also get access to the 'Community and Contact' zone. What is the 'Community and Contact' zone? This is a blog area where teachers from all participating schools can communicate. Teachers can blog comments on their classroom music experiences, ask questions to other teachers and JozzBeat staff, post audio/video of performances, share teaching ideas... and more! We even have our first Victorian school in Gembrook Primary School.
